Finally found a proxy website that works in China! At least for now. I was originally going to write a blog post about celery and carrots. Instead, I'm going to repost this letter that I had written while venting to a friend.
Dear CCP:
Please let me access my blog. I promise not to plan an uprising or start a revolution on the internet.
Scout's honor.
Sincerely,
Sisi
p.s. 9 days to go and I still haven't been able to find housing in BJ yet. Does the government have some sort of shelter for homeless interns?

Believers
I just realized that I never finished blogging about NY. BYU won top honors for both teams (Germany and Medecins Sans Frontieres) that we represented - making us champions six year running. My partner and I also won the committee award in our committee (the popular vote) so I guess people liked us :)
As Chase said, through our hard work, we made believers out of ourselves and everybody else.

Already nostalgic
End of a semester always makes me a little sad.
People are graduating, moving away, or going on missions.
I know that friends come and go, but when they go, do they come back?

Bum-to-be
My internship in Beijing (BJ) starts in 16 days. And I still don't have a place to live. I asked my mom if she was just planning on shipping me there, to a foreign city in a foreign country, and expecting me to haul my luggage around town and finding a place to sleep that very same night.
She laughed.
And said yes.

Special moments
I love my family.
Especially when we're all sitting there, some of us bawling, watching my cousin give his farewell talk before he goes on a mission two weeks from now.
